Customer 1: FANTASTIC CAMERA - look no further!
Several weeks ago I decided to upgrade to a DSLR camera, and with my budget being low, I was restricted as to what I could afford. If you are anything like me, you will by now have spent hours on the internet using various comparison sites and reading review after review. After careful consideration, I shortlisted my choice between the Sony A200, and Nikon D40. Both get great reviews and seem pretty well matched.

Anyway, I decided on the Sony A200, and what a fantastic decision I made. It looks great, feels great (quality) as you would expect from Sony, but more importantly it takes absolutely amazing photos with ease. On auto mode it does everything for you, so even a complete idiot can take great photos, but it also allows you to change settings to get the photo exactly as you want it. It has loads of features/gadgets etc.

TO SUMMARISE: If you are unsure as to whether you should take the plunge - I can highly recommend the Sony A200 - you will NOT be dissappointed!

Customer 2: Great Entry Level DSLR
As a keen photographer in years gone by and now looking to get back into it, its interesting to compare my old Canon 35mm SLR with the modern DSLRs of today.

I bought the A200 with the kit lens on Amazon for GBP 309 which is a great deal and considerably less than its advertised for elsewhere. Delivery was within 2 days and I've had a few days to play with it - I'm impressed. The start up is fast, the camera is pretty intuitive, the shots are crisp with good definition and colour. I'm still learning all the features, so I can't comment on them yet.

Customer 3: Fantastic Camera - Buy It Now
Had one of these for about 4 months now and it has never disappointed. . Comfortable to use, brilliant set of features, does everything you would expect and more.

Image stabilisation is on-camera, not on-lens like others, so this keeps the cost of add on lenses down, its high ISO pictures are remarkable, and the Dynamic Range Optimisation really pulls detail out of the shadows.

In conclusion I would say that the Alpha 200 is a marvellous bit of kit, that does all it promises, at a price that makes it nigh on impossible to ignore if you are in the market for an SLR that will do all you want right out of the box. Add a telephoto lens and a decent tripod, and you have a sweet setup that will last you years.

Customer 4: Sony DSLR-A200K
Firstly - its a Sony, so it is well made and well documented. I also have a Nikon D40X which is much lighter and a don't think so solidly made. The A200 is well laid out and easy to use with a large screen to view and change settings. It produces excellent results both in auto and user set up. Only down side the focus is slightly noisey, 9 sensors against 3, but very accurate and the shutter is a little louder than the Nikon. Overall I am very pleased with the results.
