The Sony A200k digital SLR has a 10.2 effective megapixel CCD sensor. I addition to this, the picture quality is optimised and the picture noise is reduced by the BIONZ processor.

Enhanced Super SteadyShot®

This high performance image stabalisation system detects the slightest vibrations and compensates when a picture is taken. This system works with all compatable lenses because it is built into the camera body, not the lens. This allows you to take pictures using a faster shutter speed in lower light with no loss of image quality.

Anti-Dust Technology

When you change lenses in any SLR camera, you run the risk of introducing dust into the camera. With this technology, the A200K DSLR benefits of a static-free and anti-dust coating on the CCD filter. If dust still manages to get onto the CCD filter, the camera automatically vibrates the CCD to dislodge any dust each time the camera is switched off.

2.7”1 Clear Photo™ LCD Screen

A large built-in screen with anti-reflective coating makes it easy to read camera setup menus even in bright sunlight and improves image quality when you check your shots.

Creative Style Settings

Manual adjustment of certain functions on your camera enable you to take pictures to your own personal taste. You can adjust manually the contrast, sharp settings and saturation. In addition to this, there are eight finishing styles to choose from including Standars, Landscape, Night View, Black & White, Sunset and Adobe RGB modes.

High-Capacity Media Options

For conveniently storing and sharing your images, the α (alpha) DSLR-A200 accepts CompactFlash™ Type I/II media and Memory Stick PRO Duo™ media via an optional adaptor.
